From April 20-26, 2021, will bring you action from the José Carreras Grand Prix, the International Vocal Competition of the Elena Obraztsova Foundation—tune in live to catch the grand opening from Moscow's Zaryadye Concert Hall! 83 young artists, representing 18 different countries, take part in the second edition of this prestigious competition, whose jury is headed by the great José Carreras himself.

Nine young stars of the opera scene, already lauded worldwide—Andrei Danilov (winner of this competition's inaugural edition), Ekaterina Morozova, Shota Tchibirov, Roman Arndt, Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, Mikhail Pirogov, Julia Mennibaeva, Evgeny Liberman, and Sergey Pisarev—kick off the festivities, performing beloved opera favorites with world-class assurance. The nine virtuosic soloists are accompanied by the Orchestra of the Moscow Academic Music Theatre under the baton of Alexander Solovyev.
