At the age of thirty, Janine Jansen already shows a maturity of outstanding playing. Her shapely sound, sensitive musicality, technical strength are admirable. The Dutch violinist has played with some of the greatest orchestras in the world, from the Berlin Philharmonic to the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

At the Salle Pleyel, we can hear her in the more intimate recital. With pianist Itamar Golan, Janine Jansen, who plays on a magnificent Stradivarius of 1727, chose to combine romantic German figures (Schubert) and French composers (Debussy, Messiaen, Ravel). A beautifully eclectic program that perfectly illustrates the artistic opening of this musician's communicative enthusiasm.
