Concours musical international de Montréal: Awards Ceremony and Gala Concert

The three prize-winners will perform at the Maison symphonique de Montréal, they will be accompanied by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal. This event will bring the Concours musical international de Montréal to a close.

Founded in 2002, the CMIM is an annual event that draws over 6,000 spectators to concert halls, as well as thousands of listeners on the radio and the web. It seeks to discover and support young singers, violinists, and pianists who demonstrate exceptional mastery of their art. It’s the only international competition in North America to be held annually and to present three disciplines in a three-year rotation. Since its first edition dedicated to voice in 2002, more than 2,400 hopefuls have entered the Competition and over 400 have performed in Montreal, much to the delight of music lovers.
