Since their first collaboration in Salzburg in 2010, Canadian conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin has regularly appeared with the Vienna Philharmonic — notably at the 2023 Summer Night Concert — and in 2026, he conducts the prestigious New Year’s Concert for the very first time. Nézet-Séguin is one of the most sought-after conductors of our day, currently serving as Music Director of the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Orchestre Métropolitain of Montreal, in addition to frequent guest appearances worldwide.
