The four weeks that Hong Kong pianist Aristo Sham spent in Fort Worth, Texas, becoming the winner of the 17th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, represent a period that "stands alone from the rest of my life," and one that changed the course of it for good. The Aspen Music Festival and School's tradition of hosting the most recent Cliburn winner's debut recital continues in 2025 with Aristo's extraordinary solo program, a veritable highlight reel of the performances that took him to the Gold Medal.
