Program notes

Watch Varvara Kutuzova's performance during the Round II of the Grand Piano Competition. She interprets Mozart's Piano concerto No. 21 in C Major, K. 467.

Varvara is studying at Central Music School of Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky.

Varvara is a laureate of many international competitions: the 21st Century Art (Vorzel, Ukraine, 2009, I prize), the Prima Artist International Competition (New York, USA, 2011, I prize), the International Competition for Young Pianists Astana Piano Passion (2013, I prize), the International Contest in Villahermosa, Mexico (2013, Grand prix), the International Piano Competition in Novi Sad, Serbia (2014, Grand prix).

The young pianist takes part in many great international festivals. She frequently plays recitals in Russia and abroad.

She has scholarships of the V. Spivakov, Y. Rozum, V. Zolotukhin, and "New names" Foundations.

In 2015 Varvara became the face of the International Cultural Project "Russian Day in the World", which was held in five biggest cities of the world.
