La Nuit du piano ER – With Benjamin Grosvenor, Anna Fedorova and Li Siqian

The Nuit du Piano ER is a key event of the festival, upholding Eliane Richepin's mission every year. The founder of the Centre Musical International d’Annecy, also a pianist, created the first Nuit du Piano in 1980, driven by the ambition to shed light on the pianists of the younger generation.

Anna Fedorova, young Ukrainian pianist who has already been awarded with 14 international oompetition prizes, recently performed with some of the greatest ensembles, such as the Buenos Aires Philharmonic and the Philharmonic Of The Nations. Li Siqian, 22 years old, has also made her name by being awarded with the Grand Prize at the Vladimir Krainev International Piano Competition and the first prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia. British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor has also gained recognition by winning the BBC Young Musician 2014 Competition. With the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the New York Youth Symphony and the English Chamber Orchestra, he was propelled onto the international scene.
