In honor of World Piano Day on March 29, get ready for an extraordinary piano marathon brought to you by Alim Beisembayev, winner of the 2021 Leeds International Piano Competition, and a lineup of piano stars invited to share their artistry in Leeds over the course of the concert season.

This truly international highlight reel, which also features interviews and features from the 2021 competition, includes—among many other memorable moments—British pianist Mishka Rushdie-Momen in Mendelssohn and Prokofiev, French great Jean-Efflam Bavouzet performing Fauré and Debussy, multi-award-winning Russian Pavel Kolesnikov in Schubert and Bach, Kazakh Beisembayev giving an assured reading of Bach's French Suite No. 2 and a selection of Liszt's Transcendental Etudes, Israeli pianist Boris Giltburg taking on Chopin Ballades and Ravel's Scarbo, and Georgian artist Mariam Batsashvili playing Beethoven's Appassionata Sonata.
