“When I was a child, I wanted to be an airplane pilot. At that time, in the Soviet Union, pilots could have free chocolate”. Despite his early dreams, the virtuoso Mischa Maisky studied cello with the great Rostropovich, and shines today on stages around the world. Joined by conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste and the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra, together they perform Enesco, Dvořák, and Sibelius on the stage of the Tsinandali Festival.
