Get ready for the sixth edition of the Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition, live from the Birmingham Symphony Hall! The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra joins four outstanding artists.
On the program in this final round: Evgeny Svetlanov’s Symphony, as well as Abate’s Il Re D’Ithaca composed especially for the competition — which the candidates will receive just 90 minutes before the performance! — and a work of the competitors’ choice.
