How it all started

Back in 2007, when the Verbier Festival offered us the chance to film their concerts, medici.tv hadn't yet been born, and words like "streaming" and "webcast" weren't part of our everyday vocabulary… But the opportunity was too good to pass up. In the space of a few weeks, we managed to construct a streaming station in an RV… and we began to approach musicians with a wild proposition: sharing their talents with the whole world online!

Inspired by our first taste of success, we decided to keep the adventure going and officially created medici in May 2008.

Celebrating the Verbier Festival's 30th anniversary and medici's 15th this year is an absolute joy. We send our happy birthday wishes and our thanks to Martin Engstroem for his inspiration and bold vision.
