In January 2006, the Prague International Ballet hosted the first-ever Prague International Ballet Gala at the Prague State Opera. Experience the performances from that inaugural year, starring Charles Jude, Daniil Simkin, Igor Zelensky, Delphine Baey, and Polina Semionova, among others.

Since its founding, the Prague International Ballet Gala has become one of the most respected dance events in the Czech Republic, bringing star dancers from around the globe together on the stage of the Prague State Opera each year. The inaugural gala featured legendary choreographies by the likes of George Balanchine, Marius Petipa, and others set to a wide range of classical and modern ballet pieces: from Jules Massenet to George Gershwin, from Henry Purcell to Jacques Brel.
