Furthermore she also appears as “Featured Artist” with Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra alongside conductors Esa-Pekka Salonen and Sir Antonio Pappano and in various chamber music programmes during Baltic Sea Festival and the main season.
Extensive tours are planned with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra/Mäkelä and London Symphony Orchestra/Pappano and with the Tonhalle Orchester/Paavo Järvi. She continues her Artistic Partnership with Camerata Salzburg culminating in two major tours across Asia and Europe.
Orchestral engagements are also planned with Orchestre de Paris/Mäkelä, Filarmonica della Scala/Luisi, Chamber Orchestra of Europe/Rachlin and Orchestre della Suisse Romande/Viotti.
She continues her musical partnerships with Martha Argerich and Mischa Maisky - with performances at Musikverein Wien, Lucerne and in Tokyo - as well as her regular recital partners, Denis Kozhukhin and Sunwook Kim, in Asia and in Europe.
Janine records exclusively for Decca Classics. Her latest recording released in June 2024 features Sibelius Violin Concerto and Prokofiev Violin Concerto No. 1 together with Klaus Mäkelä and the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and was met with high critical acclaim throughout.
She is the Founder and Artistic Director of the International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht as well as Co-Artistic Director of Sion Festival. In December 2025 she returns to London for two concerts at the Beare’s Festival. Since November 2023 she is Professor of Violin Studies at Kronberg Academy.
Janine studied with Coosje Wijzenbeek, Philipp Hirshhorn and Boris Belkin.
She plays the Shumsky-Rode Stradivarius from 1715, on generous loan from a European benefactor.
