Tinghong Liao
Biographie
Tinghong was born in Shantou, China in 2003. He started his piano training at 5. Since 2017 Tinghong has been studying with Vadim Rudenko in Moscow Central Music School. He was awarded the 2nd prize of the International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists in China (2012), the 3rd prize of the Pearl River Kayserburg National Youth Piano Competition in China (2013), the 1st prize of the International Chopin competition for Young Pianists in China (2014), the 2nd prize of The 10th International Young Pianists Competition «A Step Towards Mastery» in St. Petersburg (2015). In 2016 he became Laureate of the 1st Grand Piano Competition in Moscow. In 2017 he received the Diploma of the 2nd Krainev International Piano Competition (total score No.2 in junior group). Tinghong takes part in the Mariinsky Far East Festival in Vladivostok and Stars on Baikal Festival in Irkutsk performing with Valery Gergiev, Evgeny Shestakov etc.
