Simina Croitoru

She earned a Master’s degree from National University of Music Bucharest (prof. Gabriel Croitoru) and a Bachelor’s degree from Franz Liszt University in Weimar (Prof. Friedemann Eichorn). She also collaborated with musicians such as Valentin Gheorghiu, Gabriel Croitoru, Marin Cazacu, Răzvan Suma, Cristian Mandeal etc. She performed as a soloist in numerous concerts with orchestras such as Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, Bucharest Radio Chamber Orchestra, Royal Chamber Orchestra, but also in recitals in Romania, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Turkey, Switzerland and Italy.

Prizes: First Prize at the Victor Giuleanu Competition – chamber music section (Bucharest, 2012); Fourth Prize at the Schontal International Competition (2009).
