Selección Gramophone del mes (AWARDS 2018)

With Berlioz’s Les Troyens taking the spotlight in the Gramophone Classical Music Awards, we turn the focus on the composer, one of the true visionaries of the 19th century: we feature Symphonie fantastique conducted by Karajan, the Requiem under Tugan Sokhiev and the Glyndebourne production of Béatrice et Bénédict. Also from Glyndebourne, this year’s production of an American rarity, Samuel Barber’s Vanessa. With the 2018 Awards’ emphasis on Estonia, we’ve a fascinating documentary on Arvo Pärt. Our young artist is Lucas Debargue and dispensing conductorial wisdom is Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
