This June, the young competitors at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition took on one of classical music's biggest challenges--under the watchful eye of over 20 million music lovers tuning in from around the world. Now, the first edition of Moscow's Zaryadye International Festival sees a handful of them return to the Russian capital at the invitation of the festival's artistic director (and #TCH16 Co-Chair of the Organizing Committee), Valery Gergiev. For the inaugural edition of the festival, Grand Prix winner Alexandre Kantorow, Mao Fujita, Sergey Dogadin, and Ravil Islyamov perform on one of Moscow's newest stages alongside a national treasure: the Mariinsky Orchestra.
