The Concours de Genève, founded in 1939 as the Concours International d'Exécution Musicale (CIEM), is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious international music competitions. With the aim to discover, promote, and support young talented artists on the way to an international career, the Concours de Genève also has the distinction of spotlighting different disciplines in every edition. In 2022, pianists and composers have the chance to compete for the top prizes!
In this final composition round, discover brand-new works for vocal ensemble by the three talented composers chosen from a pool of 93 to advance to the very end of the competition! Following these tremendous world premieres performed by the Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, stay tuned for the awards ceremony to find out who will win the day…

SECOND PRIZE: Yuki Nakahashi (27, Japan), "Settings" for vocal ensemble
THIRD PRIZE: Ármin Cservenák (27, Hungary), "Madrigali" for six voices with texts by Petrarch, Michelangelo, and Scelsi
