Gábor Takács-Nagy conducts Shchedrin, Copland, Prokofiev, Saint-Saëns, Schumann – With Mischa Maisky, Martin Fröst, Tatiana Monogarova, Julien Quentin

Three great artists, Mischa Maisky on cello, Martin Fröst on clarinet, and soprano Tatiana Monogarova find the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra in a program of works by Shchedrin, Copland, Prokofiev, Saint-Saëns and Schumann.

The concert opens with Tanja - Katja, a popular romance for female voice and string orchestra played by Russian soprano Tatiana Monogarova.

The young Swedish virtuoso performs the beautiful Concerto for clarinet, string orchestra, harp and piano Aaron Copland.
