The gifted and charismatic conductor Alondra de la Parra, founder of the Festival Paax GNP, has won rapturous acclaim on the international stage at the helm of renowned orchestras like the Orchestre de Paris, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, the WDR Symphony Orchestra, the Verbier Festival Orchestra (VFO), the BBC Philharmonic, the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, and L’Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. She currently serves as Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid. She is also the founder of Armonía Social, a project that provides free music education to children and young people in her native Mexico.
