Master Class with Michael Tilson Thomas (II/III)

Michael Tilson Thomas, co-founder of the New World Symphony (NWS) and one of today's leading orchestral conductors, gives a series of three conducting and violin master classes to NWS alumni.

Michael Tilson Thomas and Zoya Leybin, former first violinist with the San Francisco Symphony, coach New World Symphony alumna Sarah Silver on the second movement of Sibelius’ Violin Concerto in D Minor. They work with her on details related to the movement's phrasing.
