Adventurous and creative musician Thomas de Pourquery is a 2014 and 2017 Victoires du Jazz laureate. A co-author for fascinating groups such as Rigolus and VKNG, he has also lent his voice and saxophone to such artists as Andy Emler, Jeanne Added, Metronomy, and The Shoes, and his known for his interpretations of the works of Tom Jones and Charlie Parker.
With his band Supersonic, inspired by the Super-Sonic Jazz of Sun Ra and his Arkestra, he comes to this concert held as part of the Jazz à Sète festival with a repertoire taken from his latest album, titled Sons of Love. This child of the punk spirit launches us into a heroic intergalactic adventure that reaches extasy in an explosion of Rock, Jazz, and Electro.
