Ibrahim Maalouf in Nîmes

In 2020, when health restrictions prevented concerts from taking place as usual, visionary trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf embarked on a major project: to make music heard once again in the ancient Arènes de Nîmes. In this ancient and prestigious setting, accompanied by the young musicians of L'Orchestre à l'école, Maalouf switches from trumpet to piano to perform works of his own composition, with the sparkling François Delporte on guitar. The program also includes two arrangements, one for choir and the other for brass ensemble, of his hit song Red and Black Light.
