Opening for GoGo Penguin's Everything Is Going To Be OK stop at the 2023 Jazz à La Villette festival in Paris, we have the distinct pleasure to bring you—fresh off the release of new album Legacy—Emile Londonien! A cheeky tip of the hat to French saxophonist Émile Parisien, Emile Londonien is not a solo act but a trio from Strasbourg, France, featuring Matthieu Drago on the drums, Nils Boyny on keyboards, and Théo Tritsch on bass guitar. Influenced by London-based acts The Comet Is Coming and Yussef Kamaal, their music, brimming with laidback charm and good vibes, conjures up all our best memories of the birth of nu jazz.
