After working multiple gigs in jazz bands and as a session guitarist in Nashville, Cory Wong brought his talent and unique style into the wider public eye with a series of successful projects, notably with Ben Rector and Bryan White, before joining the band Vulfpeck in 2016. In this memorable concert at the prestigious Festival International de Jazz in Montreal, the ingenious guitarist and his talented band bring their irresistible groove to a selection of Wong's electrifying funk tunes — all executed with infectious energy, Wong's remarkably clean guitar tone, and the band's perfect mastery of rhythm coupled with the pure joy of their music.
