Perlman in Russia

This documentary retraces Itzhak Perlman's first trip to the Soviet Union in 1990—a concert series accompanied by the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of maestro Zubin Mehta.

We follow Itzhak Perlman on his first visit to Moscow and Leningrad. Described not only as a virtuoso violinist but also as an incredibly charismatic individual, the documentary presents extracts from his concerts with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
