Most people discovered Marta Sebastien's voice through the Oscar-winning film The English Patient. Marta, for many years, was Hungary's best kept secret: the performer, the researcher, the vehicle of rich traditional Hungarian music, adored by Hungarian communities around the world. For music enthusiasts, Marta is cherished for two reasons: her particular way of expressing Hungaria's musical treasures and her impressive technique, hidden behind her child-like face.
