Marie-Pascale Lescot  — Dancer

Program notes

Marie-Pascale Lescot back on his training as a dancer ten years after stopping.

"I danced ten years, and for ten years the desire seemed unquenchable, and it devoured everything. In 1986, in the humid heat of summer time in New York, I danced like I had never danced. It was a kind-of powerful and happy drunkenness. This is my last class, I know. I have now spent more of my adult life without dancing. For a long time, I thought my story with the dance was over. But when my son started walking, I wondered if I could dance."
