Shio Okui plays Grieg's Piano concerto in A Minor, Op. 16.

Shio has performed at numerous Festivals such as the "Vladimir Spivakov invites…" festival (Russia, 2015), the "Moscow Meets Friends" festival (Russia, 2015), the 15th International Music Festival "ArsLonga" (Russia, 2015), the 9th International Music Festival "Stars on Baikal" (Russia, 2014), the "ArtDialog Festival" (Switzerland, 2014) etc. She was a scholarship student at the Chetham's International Summer School and Festival for Pianists (United Kingdom, 2013&2014).

Shio is a laureate of many famous music competitions, including the 1st Vladimir Krainev Moscow International Piano Competition (Russia 2015, 1st Prize "Discovery Prize"), the 3rd International Competition for Pianists & Violinists "Città di Barlassina" (Italy 2015, 1st Prize), the 2nd Steinway Piano Competition for Young Pianists in Japan (Japan 2014, 1st Prize and Audience Award), the XIV Nutcracker International Television Contest for Young Musicians (Russia 2013, 2nd Prize and Audience Award), the 4th Manchester International Concerto Competition for Young Pianists (United Kingdom 2013, 1st Prize), the 22nd Japan Classical Music Competition (Japan, 2012 Grand Prix) and others.
