Catch NYO Jazz—the newest orchestral training program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute (WMI) for talented young musicians—on its debut European tour! Virtuoso trumpeter Sean Jones leads the newest American big band in performances of jazz standards composed for the Duke Ellington and Count Basie jazz orchestras as well as new works from contemporary composers like Miguel Zenón. They are joined by Dianne Reeves, a Grammy Award-winner and one of the world’s preeminent jazz vocalists. NYO Jazz’s concert at Berlin’s Konzerthaus marks the first-ever medici.tv webcast of NYO Jazz!
