Program notes

Renaud Capuçon and Guillaume Bellom invite you to an exceptional live concert from the Fondation Singer-Polignac! The extraordinary duo perform Fauré's Violin Sonata No. 1, of which Saint-Saëns said "a magic floats above everything, encompassing the whole work"; and the exquisite Franck Violin Sonata, a passionate perennial favorite that enchants from the first note. Capuçon and Bellom's stunning virtuosity and studied rapport will keep you on the edge of your seat during this dramatic closed-door concert—the first of fourteen Rendez-vous à Paris in support of the Institut Pasteur.
