The fabulous four musicians of the Quatuor Agate take the stage at the Festival Singer-Polignac, for an electrifying concert that begins with Schumann’s technically demanding String Quartet No. 1. Virtuoso pianist Nathanaël Gouin then makes his entrance for a poignant performance of the Piano Quintet by French composer Louis Vierne, a work completed in 1918 and dedicated to his son Jacques, who had died in the war just a few months earlier...
