Program notes

Watch exceptional pianist Anna Fedorova step into the spotlight to perform Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in F-sharp Minor — a vivacious work blending impassioned lyricism with virtuosic flair — joined by the Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of their founder and director, acclaimed conductor Dionysis Grammenos. The orchestra makes its debut in the hallowed walls of Amsterdam's Royal Concertgebouw with Brahms’s richly expressive Symphony No. 3 in F Major, as well as a surprising yet beautiful encore: the sixth movement of Rachmaninov's All-Night Vigil, a veritable treasure of the choral canon.
