Mourad Merzouki's Vertikal

When choreographer Mourad Merzouki presents a new project, we can be sure of one thing: we will be astonished. After legendary works such as Pixel and Yo Gee Ti, the master returns with a bold new choreography entitled Vertikal. 

As its name suggests, Vertikal not only has its performers moving across the stage, but also launching themselves into the air. Equipped with harnesses and ropes, the dancers lift and throw one another as they float and fly across the surface of ever shifting climbing walls. A weightless experience created by an artist who always seems to be one step ahead.
