Step into Transit, an innovative dance work that examines humanity’s relationship with nature. Tero Saarinen’s large-scale choreography represents a frenzied and ritualistic fight for the natural world on the eve of destruction. The creation is set to an orchestral trilogy by composer Sebastian Fagerlund, combined with spatial sound design and electronic music by Tuomas Norvio. The Tero Saarinen Company shine center stage, conveying the choreographer’s “hope of a new beginning” among an atmospheric stage design that centers on an animated film installation by visual artist duo IC-98.
