Prix de Lausanne 2025: Rising Stars
The very best of the competition with 2025 Prize Winners and Finalists, guest stars Margarita Fernandes and António Casalinho, and more
Program notes
Following the success of the Prix de Lausanne's first Rising Stars in 2024, the prestigious international dance competition finishes once again with this special showcase for the incredible talents of its 2025 Prize Winners and Finalists, in addition to new choreographies honored by its Young Creation Award! This year's Rising Stars features original work by renowned choreographer Jessica Lang, as well as a special appearance by guest stars Margarita Fernandes and António Casalinho — appointed Soloist and Principal Dancer at the Bavarian State Ballet in 2024 — who perform iconic pas de deux from Le Corsaire and John Cranko's Romeo and Juliet. Don't miss this all-dancing extravaganza of classical and contemporary styles!
