About
Guitarist Philippe Mouratoglou regularly works with musicians and ensembles from all different traditions, both in the classical music world (Nathalie Dessay, Henri Demarquette, Julien Martineau, Ariane Wohlhuter, Hugues Borsarello…) and in the field of improvised music.
Co-founder of the label Vision Fugitive, he has participated in a great many original projects: a duo with guitarist Pedro Soler exploring the influence of flamenco on the work of Isaac Albéniz (2014), a CD dedicated to Fernando Sor (2019), a guitar / double bass / percussion trio with Bruno Chevillon and Ramón López (Univers-solitude, 2018, awarded "Choc de l’année" in Jazz magazine; Ricercare, 2021; Nautiles, 2025), an album of Italian guitar music (La Bellezza, 2024)…
