Eun Che Kim

About

Eun Che Kim studied at the Yewon School, the Seoul Arts High School, the Seoul National University and the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin where her principal teacher was Kolja Blacher. She has also studied with Sung Won Yun and has attended master-classes with violinists including Leonidas Kavakos, Ulf Wallin and Gábor Takács-Nagy. She has performed with a number of professional symphony orchestras including the Philharmonie Baden-Baden, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv Philharmonic, the Venusto Symphony Orchestra, the KBS Symphony Orchestra and the Seongnam City Symphony Orchestra. In 2020 she was a recitalist in Schloss Hungen. She is a laureate of the Novosibirsk International Violin Competition (Second Prize) and the International Johannes Brahms Competition (Third Prize).
