She made her debut as Rosina Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Teatro Real, Madrid, before singing Angelina La cenerentola at the Petit Liceu, a role she has also sung at the Tenerife Opera Festival. In 2009, she joined the Atelier Lyrique at the Opéra national de Paris, where she covered Cherubino Le nozze di Figaro and Rosina Il barbiere di Siviglia, and sang Javotte Manon and Adonella Francesca da Rimini at the Bastille. With the Atelier Lyrique, she appeared as Concepción L’heure espagnole and Jenny Hildebrand Street Scene.
Engagements elsewhere have included Javotte Manon at the Philharmonie de Luxembourg, Rosina Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Opéra national de Bordeaux and the Opéra de Massy, Angelina La cenerentola at the Palau de Congressos de Santa Eulàlia de Ibiza, Zulma L’Italiana in Algeri at the Opéra de Marseille and Selinda Il Farnace at the Opéra national du Rhin, a production also presented at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, and Versailles.
Conductors with whom she has worked included Christoph Alfstaedt, Bruno Campanella, Giuliano Carella, Jeff Cohen, Diego Faolis, Antony Hermus, Paolo Olmi, Daniel Oren, George Petrou, Evelino Pidò, Marlano Rivas, Christophe Rousset and Jean-Luc Tingaud.
Her current engagements include the title role in Carmen at the Palau de Congressos de Santa Eulàlia de Ibiza, Mme Dangeville Adriana Lecouvreur at the Opéra national de Bastille, La Musica / La Messaggera / La Speranza L’Orfeo with Les Talens Lyriques at the Opéra national de Lorraine and at the Salle Pleyel, Paris, Donna Elvira Don Giovanni with Opéra Éclaté, a production that will tour to venues including the Festival de Saint Cére and the Opéra de Massy, Canteloube Songs of the Auvergne and Vivaldi Stabat Mater on tour with the Young Musicians European Orchestra.
During 2014, Carol Garcia was a Finalist in the 33rd International Hans Gabor Belevedere Singing Competition in Düsseldorf and in the 22nd Edition of Plácido Domingo’s Operalia in Los Angeles.
