Andrej Dunaev

He made his professional stage début at Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre in 2002, singing Alfredo in La Traviata, and went on to appear as Vladimir (Prince Igor), Lensky (Eugene Onegin) and Rodolfo (La bohème) in Moscow and Strasbourg. He was then engaged by the Kassel State Theatre, becoming a member of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in 2005 and later moving to the Dresden State Opera, where he remained for two seasons.

Since 2011 Andrej Dunaev has again been a member of the Düsseldorf Opera. Guest appearances have taken him to Frankfurt and Graz, the Opéra national de Paris, the Deutsche Oper and Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin and La Scala, Milan, as well as Bonn, Cologne and Essen.
