Andrej Dunaev

The Russian tenor Andrej Dunaev studied singing at Moscow’s State Conservatory and was a prizewinner in the 1998 Bella Voce Competition.

The following year he was a prizewinner at the Neue Stimmen Competition, where he sang “Kuda, kuda vï udalilis” from Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin and also took part in a performance of the quartet from Act Three of Puccini’s La bohème. In 2000 he won a special prize at the Belvedere Competition in Vienna.
