A portrait of German Soprano Annette Dasch, with interviews and excerpts from various rehearsals and performances.

Since her very much acclaimed debut at the 2006 Salzburg Festival, Annette Dasch has unquestionably been considered one of today’s leading sopranos. Among her most important roles performed worldwide, we can mention Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Contessa (The Marriage of Figaro), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Antonia (Contes d'Hoffmann), Elisabeth (Tannhäuser), Elsa (Lohengrin), and Eva (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg).

In the concert field, she has worked with the greatest orchestras and conductors. She was awarded with the ECHO prize for the best opera-recording in 2008 for her CD Armida. As highlighted in this documentary, the 2010/2011 season was marked by special professional and personal events.

Meet with stage director Hans Neuenfels, who directed for stage Wagner's opera Lohengrin, in which Annette Dasch excelled as Elsa, with Jonas Kaufmann and Klaus Florian Vogt. This role is very important for soprano Annette Dasch, as she has been performing Elsa every year at the Bayreuth Festival since 2010.
