Jeff Mills, techno music pioneer, returns to the Halle aux grains for a second collaboration with the Orchestre National du Capitole Toulouse (ONCT)! Under the direction of Christophe Magou, they present the world premiere of Mills's Lost in Space.

Techno meets classical music in Jeff Mills's new science fiction-inspired multi-sensory composition! Commissioned by the ONCT, Lost in Space explores the future of mankind’s advances in space travel. One of today’s most exciting DJs, producers, composers, and visual artists, the multi-faceted Jeff Mills has been celebrated in song by rappers like Eminem, honored by the French Minister of Culture for services to the arts, and received multiple commissions from symphonic orchestras. The current futuristic electronic-classical project was initially released in late 2017 as a five-track LP Lost in Space. With the atmosphere set by Yves Pépin's staging and lighting, Mills is joined on stage by percussionist and tabla-player Prabhu Edouard and the ONCT under Christophe Magou's baton.
