Tatiana Kravtsova

Biographie

Tatiana Kravtsova was born in Leningrad and graduated from the St.Petersburg Conservatory in 1985 with Prof. N.Serwal, with diplomas in opera vocal. In 1987 was invited as a soloist to the Kirov opera (Mariinsky Opera and Ballet Theater).

Since 1989 she has been touring with Mariinsky Opera Theater to Switzerland, Finland, Israel, USA, Holland, Belgium, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain.

In 1992 she performed in Gala Concert Pacific Voices in San Francisco and in 1993 sang Francesca da Rimini at the Flanders Festival. On may 1993 she took the 1-st Prize on International Contest of Young Opera Singers and a special prize from Philips Classics.

In 1997 she performed Micaela in Carmen by Bizet in Statni opera Praha. She recorded come CD: Magic Flute by Mozart (Pamina), Mavra by Stravinsky (Parasha) and Songs by Shostakovich (BBC, 1994) accompanied by Larisa Gergieva.

On April 1998 she participated in Shostakovich Festival in Japan with Maestro Mstislav Rostrapovich.
