Nancy Zhou, born in 1993, is a native of San Antonio, Texas and a graduate of Harvard University. Influenced in music by her father and teacher, Nancy gave her orchestral debut at the age of 9. She has additionally studied with Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory.
A laureate of the 2012 Queen Elisabeth Competition and prizewinner at the 2014 Indianapolis Competition, Nancy has performed extensively with international orchestras, including the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Munich Symphony. As a recitalist, she has performed across in the predominantly US and Asia and at festivals such as the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Verbier Festival, and the Ravinia Festival.
Since 2008, Nancy has been a recipient of the Anne-Sophie Mutter Foundation.
