Discover the third act of German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen's opera Donnerstag aus Licht, the first in the famed Licht cycle, to which he devoted no less than 25 years of his life. This landmark act, dedicated to the archangel Michael, explores all the poetry that its composer finds in biblical texts, notably the Testament of Moses, the Syriac Apocalypse of Baruch, and the Testament of Levi.
