Sobre el programa...
The Berliner Philharmoniker knows how to welcome the summer in style: every year, just around midsummer, they offer up an incredible evening under the stars at the Berlin Waldbühne, inviting preeminent conductors and soloists to celebrate the end of another successful concert season. In the 2025 season ender, superstar maestro Gustavo Dudamel leads a musical journey across the American continent, featuring works from Mexico (including Gabriela Ortiz's "magical" Kauyumari, inspired by Huichol folklore), Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and the United States. Grammy-winning bass-baritone Ryan Speedo Green takes the stage for Aaron Copland's soulful Old American Songs, and Dudamel and the orchestra bring the festivities to a close with Leonard Bernstein's extraordinary music from West Side Story, blending deep emotion and irresistible rhythm.
