#mediciverbier10 – After being an outstanding member of the 2006 Verbier Festival Academy, the violinist Benjamin Beilman returns to the Verbier Festival as a star soloist. Together with the pianist Alessio Bax, he performs some of the most beautiful pieces from the violin repertoire by Beethoven, Ravel and Schubert.

“[Beilman’s] handsome technique, burnished sound and quiet confidence show why he has come so far so fast" – The New York Times. Beilman won the First Prize and Audience Awards at the 2010 Montreal International Music Competition. Alessio Bax is also a competition winner, having won the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in Japan at the age of 19 and the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2000.
