Tugan Sokhiev y Menahem Pressler

After the triumph of the first season of collaboration between the Orchestre de Toulouse and medici.tv, who broadcast eight concerts with a rich program bringing together Bertrand Chamayou, Olga Borodina, Renaud Capuçon, Jean-Yves Thibaudet and Antoine Tamestit, the 2012-2013 season begins wonderfully with a Mozart/Shostakovich concert, conducted by the great Tugan Sokhiev.

Recognized as a piano superstar, Menahem Pressler gives the 17th Piano Concerto by one of his favorite composers: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In the second part of the program, the musicians from Toulouse and Tugan Sokhiev perform the Symphony No. 5 by Shostakovich, a powerful work created by Mravinsky in 1937.
