Sobre el programa...
At the Opéra Comédie à Montpellier, the Moreau Trio, featuring brothers David (violin), Edgar (cello), and Jérémie (piano), combines musical prowess with fraternal synergies, resulting in an awe-inspiring performance of two jewels from the repertoire of one of history’s most beloved composers. In 1827, one year before his death, Franz Schubert composed the Piano Trio No. 1 in E-Flat and Piano Trio No. 2 in E-Flat.
These two trios are known for their ambitious score, which showcases each performer throughout their combined runtime of roughly 90 minutes. The Moreau Trio executes the two works with ease and finesse. The piano, the violin, and the cello, three versatile instruments par excellence, guide us thanks to the variety of their sounds and timbres through Schubert’s musical journey, which is buoyant and light in one movement and somber and melancholic in the next. These young classical music stars will impress you with their maturity, talent, and passion for Schubert.
