At the Verbier Festival in 2015, the young pianist Behzod Abduraimov joins the Verbier Festival Orchestra under the baton of Manfred Honeck to perform works by Strauss, Prokofiev and Dvořák, an outstanding evening to follow live on medici.tv

A guest of the most prestigious classical festivals in Europe (Lucerne Festival, BBC Proms, Verbier Festival) and leading orchestras (New York Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, Dresden Staatskapelle, etc), the Austrian Manfred Honeck made a recording (that was critically acclaimed upon its release) of Antonín Dvořák's Symphony No. 8 in G Major – the work in the spotlight tonight.

Behzod Abduraimov, who won the London International Piano Competition in 2009 thanks to the Prokofiev Concerto No. 3 that he performed at the final round, will give a rendition of this very concerto live on medici.tv!
